LAKE D'ARBONNE
Ever since I learned how to use a laser cutter, I wanted to make a 3D topographical map of a lake my Dad grew up by for a Christmas present for him.
It took me a couple years to get around to it, but I eventually gathered a few maps of the towns and the depth of the lake, illustrated them, laser cut them out in multiple layers, and glued them together. I then built a frame and stained it.
I think it turned out very well.
