CHLOROPHYLL PRINTS

It doesn't take much to make a unique photograph, sometimes you need to just walk outside and pick a leaf from a tree. These are purely experimental, but i would be interesting to make a series out of this method.

If you press a positive transparency on top of a leaf with a sheet of glass and stick the stem of the leaf in a bag of water, you will have some sort of image printed on the leaf. Some species work better than others (the red maple leaf turned almost into a negative image). My best results came from a sycamore leaf.
